Owner of the “Every.Black” family of websites. The Every.Black Family of Websites were created to share solutions to the issues concerning and affecting the African American community through the use of technology, networking and entrepreneurship. In the process, the sites display uplifting, inspiring and encouraging images. The sites are a positive and moving experience for visitors while educating and providing networking opportunities for all. Past president of the Raleigh/Durham Chapter of the Fuller and Dudley Mastermind Business Group of the SB Fuller and Joe L. Dudley Sr. Foundation, Inc. The foundation exists for the purpose of educating African-Americans about the virtues of capitalism and the positive effect of entrepreneurship as the vehicle for economic empowerment.

Owner of MacMasters Computer Services, a computer training and database development company founded in 1988. Specializing in FileMaker Pro database development with Internet applications using Lasso from 1998 to present. Conducted computer training workshops in more than 30 cities throughout eight southeastern states from 1988 to 2000. Directly responsible for the training of over 5,000 employees of businesses, educational institutions and government agencies. Past clients include: NASA/Langley Research Center, The US Army, Lockheed, The US Navy, The US Marines, Jefferson Laboratories, General Dynamics, Kinko’s, The College of William & Mary, E.I. DuPont, General Electric, The US Coast Guard, Hampton University, SAS, Duke Medical University, SunTrust Bank and Signet Bank. Past authorized Claris Training Center and member of the Apple Consultants Relations program.

FileMaker Pro Database Developer for Hey Clinic (Scoliosis & Spine Surgery) in Raleigh, NC from 2009 to 2015 developing and maintaining customized medical software databases to manage a spine surgery clinic and to improve the quality of patient care.

FileMaker Pro Database Developer for Child Care Services Association in Chapel Hill, NC from 2005 to 2009 developing and maintaining customized databases to manage scholarships given to employees of child care facilities throughout the United States.

Employee for Apple Computer Inc. from 2004 to 2005 as a sales associate and FileMaker database specialist.

FileMaker Pro Database Developer for RightMinds Marketing and Advertising Agency (now known as BrandCommand Central) of Richmond VA from 1999 to 2004 developing and maintaining customized database system to track hours spent on various ongoing projects and monitor all expenses of the company.

FileMaker Pro Database Developer for Designmasters of Williamsburg, VA from 1993 to 2000 developing and maintaining a customized database system to coordinate the development and manufacturing of hundreds of retail items, to generate packing lists and automate the sales process.

Contracted by Apple Computer Inc. from 1994 to 1996, to establish and manage the African American Information Network (AAIN) on eWorld, an international electronic bulletin board service that was owned and operated by Apple. AAIN was an online internet based service targeting the interests and needs of the African American community and offered: a discussion board, a library of information, role model profiles, a live chat area, transcripts of past meetings, downloadable files and software, a calendar of events and a mailing list.

Founder of the Association of Macintosh Trainers; an Internet based network of Macintosh computer trainers and consultants founded in 1991 that promotes quality Apple Macintosh computer support for anyone in need of professional Macintosh assistance.

Founder of the Association of Database Developers; an Internet based international network of database developers founded in 2004 where anyone, anywhere can easily access quality database support and assistance and where developers can share programming concepts, methods and procedures.

Selected to train Newport News Public School librarians on the use of Macintosh software.

Selected to train NASA employees for two years on the use of Macintosh software.

Selected by the Virginia Space Grant Consortium to provide Internet training for Virginia teachers.

Past Adjunct computer instructor for Tidewater Community College-Chesapeake Campus, Chesapeake, Virginia, and for Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton, Virginia.
